Somers Beach
Perfect 3km stretch of sand to the east of Somers. A gem of a beach. Need to be prepared for at least a 1km walk to get away from the main textile area. After that the beach is usually deserted even at peak holiday season. Occasional dog walkers but nudity is tolerated providing discretion is observed. Beach surrounded by HMAS Cerberus which is Commonwealth land. Multiple signage warns against entry into the military base itself for obvious reasons.
