Balmedie Beach
Unofficial beach, known for nudists. Park in the small car park next to the abandoned toilet block south of the main car park (there's posts that make the the car park entrance a bit narrow, but it's possible!). Follow the direction of the wood path past the BBQ area. Keep going until you come to a barbed fence and the path changes direction to go directly inland (the wood path stops and starts but carry on). You'll see a sandy path leading up the hill in the direction of the beach. Go up, down to cross the small bridge and up the other side. You'll see the sands below. If it's quiet enough you can walk naked for about a mile south, but beware the firing range that's beyond here! If you go north, don't cross the burn or you'll meet textiles and gawkers.
