Sampson island
Sampson island is a city park assessable only by water. There is one dock for larger boats but the canals that wind all through the island are only assessable with kayaks, canoes and paddleboard’s etc. People do frequent this island but not so much on the weekdays. I walked the entire island and explored for an hour and a half without bumping into anyone. Also, camping is legal there and usually you have the place to yourself so towards the end of the day you own the island. It can be quite buggy in the summer months but in the winter it’s very tolerable. This is a off grid no facility campsite where you can fully play naked and afraid
